Luc Hosten

Started photography in 1974 and soon joined the Port Elizabeth Camera Club. He holds associateships in Colour Slides and Published Works from the Photographic Society of South Africa. In 2009 he was awarded the first Fellowship in Published Works ever awarded by the Photographic Society of South Africa.
He currently submits photographs to two stock agencies, namely Gallo Images (who is the African representative of Getty Images and Corbis) and Ecoscene in the UK which specialises in environmental imagery. His photographs have appeared in many books and magazines ranging from African Wildlife to ZigZag. He is currently trying to make a living out of making furniture from driftwood and freelance writing for magazines as diverse as Stywe Lyne, Pix and Country Life.
He has taken an oath that he will never photograph another wedding and the embedded theme in all his writing and photography is a healthy appreciation and respect for the environment.
